Marina's life was somewhat normal. Her parents disappearing when she was young, and handing her over to her aunt, was strange. But after that date, her life seemed to be getting better. Friends, school, and a future to look forward to, Marina didn't expect everything to go downhill when Darien becomes interested in her.

Darien isn't a typical bad boy. He was more silent, and keeping himself type of guy. Marina didn't notice him, and he didn't take notice of her. That is until Leon comes into her life. Leon, is the opposite of Darien, he's dangerous and fun, and takes her places she's never been. The more she hangs out with Leon, the more Darien is trying to stop her.

After a party gone bad, Marina gets closer to the godlike, bad boy Leon. She can't explain it but their relationship is like magnets. Nothing can separate them. Darien notices Leon being interested in Marina, and sees it as a way to capture him. He was willing to sacrifice Marina to save his kingdom. As secrets begin to unravel, Darien finds out that Marina is the only one that can save his kingdom. With Leon slowly taking Marina away from him, Marina might not choose to fulfill her chosen fate.
