Around a year after they have returned from Narnia Edmund falls ill and the doctors believe they cannot save them. A message from Aslan reaches the Pevensies; they can save Edmund if they go to Narnia, for the illness will not exist in that world. All 4 can go, but Edmund will never be able to return, for if he does he will die. When the siblings arrive in Narnia they hear Caspian has called them, for trouble has been stirring. How can 3 kings and 2 queens rule 1 country, with 2 very differently opinionated people. Ashton crouched down next to her, meeting her eye level with a friendly smile, "I'm afraid I don't know what you mean, little one." "You know... The ball thing... Mommy told me it was the King's opportunity to woo a lady of Narnia." She explains with her limited vocabulary and a small lisp. "A courting ball?" Ben asks the little one. "That's it!" She exclaims, "Are you going?" "I guess we will see, we haven't been back to the castle since the war," Ashton tells the five-year-old, sugarcoating her response to avoid disappointing the child. "Ohh." She nodded before leaning down to Ash to whisper in her ear, "My father told me stories from the war, of course not the stories with too much fighting, but he mentioned the greatness of the prophesied. You were always my favorite." She giggles. Ash didn't know what to say as the little centaur bounced away. She stood from the party, needing a minute outside. Slowly, she folded the letter from her sister. Her mind overflowed with thoughts and her blood burdened with envy. She was conflicted with mixed emotions. She knew she had left an effect on Caspian but she hadn't realised it had been so strong; She also knew he had left an effect on her; Occasionally, he'd appeared in her dreams. They would dance under the incandescent sky and intertwined their hearts with every-step. Their laughter was like symphonies to deafened ears; Gently, they would dance; their eyes wouldn't leave each others until the sun kissed the dawn and made the horizon a vast array of reality.
