After Katara left Jet iced to a tree he became more and more blood thirsty, he hated the fire nation with a passion and he went to extreme measures to rebel against them, sometimes even getting himself or his team hurt in the process. That all changed when a fire nation girl made him see the fire people different from bloodthirsty monsters.

The Avatar is gone. He was not there when the fire nation invaded the earth kingdom and he is not here now, when a small group of rebels hiding in ancient ruins does its best to survive. Lee is one of these rebels and leads a small team that ventures regularly into a city governed by the fire nation in order to steal food and daily necessities. However the fire nation soldiers are not his only enemy. Some of his own comrades despise him and do everything they can on order to turn his life into hell. Above all Lee hides a dark past he can not even tell his closest friend Roku because he fears that even he would turn against him if he knew the whole truth. Then it all changes when a new refugee reaches the ruins. Her name is Sora and she is an airbender. Even though she is still so very young she insists to join Lee's team and fight alongside them. Learning to trust-A Zutara Story
Katara spend a great amounts of time hating Zuko after his betrayal under the crystal catacombs of Ba Sing Se. She had trusted him and he had betrayed her. When he joins Aang and starts teaching him fire bending her emotions get complicated and she is soon torn between her hatred towards the fire nation and her strange attraction to the Prince of said nation. Zuko infuriates her, annoys her , he is a constant reminder of Aang almost dying yet she finds herself trusting him again and slowly loving him. ~*~*~*~ The story is currently under Edit because it has been two years since I completed it and my English and writing ability have improved since then.
