Once upon a time... That's how all the fairytales begin, right? There's a girl who's mistreated and misunderstood. She meets a guy--probably the most popular guy in school (and hey, why not make him British while we're at it?). He's most likely very handsome and just as rich, and magically seems to understand her. It feels like they've known each other forever when in fact they've actually just met. It's love at first sight, the guy saves the girl from whatever misery she's in, they meet only two or three problems along the way, and then it's happily ever after. But this isn't a fairytale. SHE HAVEN'T BEEN HOME TO VISIT SINCE SHE LEFT TO START HER NEW LIFE IN A NEW TOWN, (NEWYORK MANHATTAN) BUT HER BEST FRIEND IS ABOUT TO GET MARRIED AND WANT HER THERE AND WHAT SHE COULDN'T DO WAS DISAPPOINT HER, THIS HAS FORCE HER TO GO BACK HOME, ON HER RETURN SHE FOUND THAT THE MAN SHE ONCE LOVED BACK THEN, THE VERY ONE SHE GAVE HERSELF TO IN HIGHSCHOOL WAS STILL AROUND SURPRISED HE HAVEN'T LEFT HOME, WITH BOTH THEIR BEST FRIEND GETTING MARRIED AND THEY BOTH HAVE TO BE INVOLVED IN PLANNING THE WEDDING, THIS HAS FORCE THEM TO BE SPENDING A LOT OF TIME TOGETHER, DRAWING THEM BACK CLOSER ONCE AGAIN, NOW THEY HAVE BOTH CAME TO REALIZE THAT WHAT THEY HAD FELT BACK THEN WASN'T A THING OF THE PAST FOR SOMETHING INTIMATE WAS ABOUT TO OCORED ONCE AGAIN AND THIS TIME NEITHER COULD RUN AWAY FROM IT LOVE HAD BACKED THEM IN A PLACE AND NOW THEY HAD TO ADMIT TO EACH OTHER THE WAY THEY BOTH FEEL AND THIS FEELING WAS FOR REAL.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Concluida
Growing Pains
In the day-to-day trenches of high school, it is almost the default-setting to believe we are the main character of our own coming-of-age story. This is not wrong. It's just ours isn't the only story there is. The jocks, the nerds, the cheerleaders, the losers, the stoners, the fangirls, the skaters. Everyone's the realest most important person in existence, all of them, at the same time, first-person narrators to their own stories, stumbling into each other's plot lines, defying the status-quo, catalysts to ups and downs. A deconstruction of all the high school tropes and cliches written over the years, a deep-dive into the psyche of students trying to finish high school while going through irrevocable self-discovery, the most improbable of connections, and the insufferable pains of growing up.Concluida
The John Hughes Club
Being the new girl, officially sucks. Being the new Goth girl, wholeheartedly sucks. Being the new Goth girl, with horrific baggage, truly sucks. At my old school, I was thought of as 'cool and quirky'. Here, I'm just the weird new girl - the weird new girl whose parents are divorcing. I get stared at. Whispered about. Socially ostracised. I just know that my entire school life is now going to be an endless bout of loneliness and humiliation. Only, it would seem that Chas Summers doesn't think so. He has just stuffed a piece of paper in the back pocket of my jeans with one of his cocky and welcoming smiles. Now this boy, really is cool and quirky. A bit of a rebel, but he's definitely no rebel without a cause. That cocky smile of his, tells me that this could be the coming together of two quirky kindred spirits. That smile, tells me that I could have found my first friend here. Maybe being the new girl, isn't going to be so bad after all? Maybe being the new girl, will have its advantages?
