Olive and Jaxon have little in common. In fact, at first sight they couldn't really be much more different. Jaxon has just moved from L.A., while Olive has lived in the same small beach town her entire life. Olive spends most of her time alone in the quiet bookstore she works at, sipping on a coffee, while Jaxon prefers to be surrounded by others, by chaos, by sound. But when Jaxon gets hired at the same bookstore as Olive, both will learn that people aren't always black and white, in fact, they are a spectrum of colors that often collide. Despite his appearance, Jaxon has a side that admires art, literature, photography, and architecture; and even though Olive is a bookworm, she also has a bit of a wild streak. Despite what the initial impressions of each other were, time seems to change them. Both are learning quickly that theres more to just what meets the eye- and the person underneath might be even better than expected.

Emily had a crush on Jaxon for an entire year before she had finally noticed his true colors... he was a jerk. Sure he was an adorable jerk but that didn't change his personality one bit. But after Emily finally learns that Jaxon is not the jerk he seems what will she do? Her mother hates him, she still has to go on dates with Tim from church, and her friends are super nosy. I guess there is only one good option at this point. They'll have to keep a secret. COMPLETED [Hey! 21 year old Jessi here! I wrote this book like- my freshman year of highschool, and a lot of it is just me goofing around. Almost ALL of these characters are based on people I knew. Although I did have an insane sequel planned at the time. I absolutely cannot continue this into adulthood. Take caution when reading, I was fifteen and severely uneducated :) 9/23/25]
