Merudoxin.

Hearing that word should have made everyone grimace at the thought. It should have filled their body with pure anger to see women everywhere rave about the new drug; to see its name plastered all over the news. They told us it would make labour painless. They told us it would revolutionize childbirth. The only thing left to do was to test it.

On us.

Women everywhere were lining up at their local hospitals just waiting to get a taste of the drug. Conceitedly, they signed their names. Everyone was hoping the medicine would work. It was to be a major science breakthrough!

But no one ever promised that the babies wouldn't get hurt. No one seemed to care about the endangerment of their lives.

That's where I came in. A voice for the voiceless. I would never let a life be wasted, even if my own life became at risk.

**Sneak Preview**
The doctor took the baby in his hands and took a look himself. I heard him take a sharp intake of breath. "Bloody hell!" he exclaimed.

"What should we do with her?" the surgeon asked.

"We're going to have to get rid of it" he announced simply. I whipped my head towards Arturo. I began getting up, trying to end this tyranny but Arturo held me back and that's when I remembered where we were, who I was carrying inside me. I cried quietly as I watched the woman scream and whimper as she realised the fate of her child. And the fate of herself. The surgeon wheeled her inside a door followed by the Doctor with the baby.

"You can't do this to us! Give me my baby!" she sobbed helplessly until she said in a quiet voice, "Let me hold her once". The doors closed before I could see if they fulfilled her last wish. That's the last I saw of her and her daughter.

"Mom I have told you so many times I don't want to get married," I said to my dear mother, who has not stopped ranting at me. "How long do you want to be an unmarried man? Look at all your friends. Skyler, Zanvil, and now even Skyler have girlfriends, and here you are solving criminal cases. When will you solve your life's case?" My mother taunted me sternly. I pressed my lips in a thin line. "I want to see you happy." She was pissed because I didn't go on a blind date on a Friday. "Mom, I'm happy. I don't want to do blind dates, and I don't ever want to get married. It's not for me," I said sternly, not wanting to take this topic any further. "Then when will I get to see my grandchild?" she said, sounding agitated. If she wanted a grandchild this desperately, then she should not have stopped me from having a surrogate. Only because of her I even gave it a try for surrogacy. "Probably never," I said, cutting the call before she started to do waterworks. "Mom, give me a break," I said in annoyance, and I grabbed my cell phone. I slid up the green button to tell her for the final time. "Hello, am I speaking to Mr. Michele Roberts?" a famine voice said from the other side. I composed myself before opening my mouth. "Yes, you are," I said in a firm tone while still massaging my forehead. I need to take medicine for it. "Sir, I have called you to invite you to the anniversary ceremony of Happy Life Fertility Hospital," she said in her receptionist tone. My brows furrowed when she said that. mouth was sealed when she continued. "We tried to call your wife, but we couldn't reach her. Please bring your four-year-old son too. We are going to do a small celebration because he is our thousandth successful IVF child," she said, sounding happy before cutting the call. The ground beneath my legs was snatched away. I just couldn't believe my ears. What the fuck? I have a wife and a four-year-old son.

The long awaited sequel to "Submission" is here. BJ and DJ are all grown up. They've focused on the pack and finally have found their mate. But she's not so sure about being anyone's mate. Can they find out her past and help her find her way past it and into a happy future with them? Excerpt: What caught my senses, made my eyes sharpen, my wolf go on alert, was the young woman who had just arrived. She hugged my sister and was already smiling and laughing as she greeted others. Beautiful, like lightning to my brain. Captivating, the entire world seemed to brighten with her in view. Damn, I thought, who was she? I'd never gotten this reaction with a girl ever before. Why was she so different. With out thinking or making a decision I walked slowly but with purpose. The rest of the world fell away until it was just her. Even through the den of noise, the onslaught of smells, I could hear her wonderful laughter and smell the subtle sent of Rose from her. Was it lotion, shampoo, maybe perfume? I wanted to wrap her tight in my arms and bury my nose against that delicate neck. I'd inhale that smell deep and let my wolf roll in her smell. As I got closer that rose smell gave way to her natural scent. I was only six feet from her now. Her back was toward me. Thin shoulders, tiny waist, perfect hips, nice round ass, legs on display since she wore very short shorts. I recognized that shifter smell. She was a lioness. They were kick ass and had courage to spare. As she was laughing it suddenly hit me why she was drawing me in making my pulse run like she was an aphrodisiac. Only one reason for so immediate and strong reaction. She was my mate. Warning: Contains relationships between people far apart in age. Also contains references, and sexual scenes between family members. References to mistreatment from parental authorities.

"Doesn't seem to work now that my DNA is so fucked I can't heal." I say to him, rolling my eyes. "So you agree that it is a change in your DNA?" Charlie says to me. "I don't know." I huff, angry at this whole debate. "I can't deal with humans fucking up every effort I have to live happy." "Does Father ever let you stay in Heaven?" "Only half the time." "And what do you do in Heaven?" "I fight. Sword fighting mostly, it's a big attraction. Our sword fights are as popular there as football is here." "Football?" He asks, his eyebrows raised. "Ugh, wrong era. Whatever." I respond, rolling my eyes at my own stupidity. A sudden hitch in my breath causes me to cough more, another clump of clotted blood coming forward into the towel I offer. "Life on earth is just a revolving door of wars, fighting, finding out angels exist, fighting over it, killing everyone that remembers, then back to the industrial revolution again. And there's almost always times when angels are outlawed and locked up." "Back to your problem though, do you agree that God may be trying to train you? Or maybe he's using you to remove the villains from society?" "The latter holds some truth. After all, I do get dumped into the human society when everything is going to shit." "Do you ever do wrong in Gods eyes? Maybe he's putting you down here to clean up society as a punishment." Book 4, yep I skipped one. Each book stands on its own. It's good to read the first before, but not necessary. I use wattpad as a back-up of my typed stories. I have so much more hand written, and if you truly are interested I will totally type more or even upload pictures of each page written.

Is This The End?

17 parts Complete Mature

I had been living in this dystopian universe my whole life. We lived simple, meaningless lives. I wasn't sad, merely dissatisfied. No one here was ever sad. The Center, which was our government, forced us to take a pill every morning to make sure we were always happy and healthy. For most of our lives we lived at home with our odd families that the government stuck us into as babies. Usually five children were put into each household. We grew up together in a single house, raised and taught by a robot even though none of us were related. We lived at home with limitless entertainment in the form of advanced technologies. We had one day of the week for shopping, one day for going out and one day for labor. On labor days we were assigned a job and had to complete it in order to gain money for the week. Everyone got the same amount no matter the job. If you didn't show up for these jobs there were grave consequences. The Center often used torture as a method of punishment, or so we were told. No one close to me had ever actually been punished by The Center though. It was incredibly rare. Most of us lived our lives as good little pawns doing nothing more than eating, sleeping and entertaining ourselves. But one day, my regular boring life changed...
