After the fox Sakura turns herself human in an attempt to live with the villager she loves, her efforts backfire and she left in a human body but with fox tails and ears. The villagers are terrified of the half human and try to kill her. Sakura's friend uses her magic to teleport Sakura away from danger, but she ends up falling through time, and falls right into the modern college student Takashi Sohma's arms. This story tells the story of the half human Sakura who is struggling to live in the modern world as a half human kitsune, and the romance unfolding between Takashi and Sakura.
