Every eye color has a power. Brown eyes control the earth. Blue eyes control the water. White eyes control the sky. There are many colors, and some are more common than others. Grey, the color of ashes, is the most common of the eye colors. Grey controls fire. The least common was Purple, the eye color of the royal family that has ruled for millennia, and the controllers of shadows. It was Purple. Until me. I'm Yellow. The first Yellow. And I can control everything.

In this land there are two categories of people, normal humans like the readers and writers of this story and then those who can see the magic and evil. There are animals but there are also magical creatures, some good, some bad and some that are just there. You always stood out from the rest. You had the eyes that held the power to see these creatures. Bright yellowish gold eyes and people were scared of you. They were scared because you were above all of them. Your parents owned this old fashioned city. It was a village the size of a city and it had some modern technology mixed with no technology. You had no friends for for so long and people always bullied you probably because they were scared of you. They didn't know of the magical side of the land. They didn't know that some people can see it. They would only see the creatures if they made themselves seeable. Everything was normal one day, people treating you like trash and you running crying to your mom. But your parents had gotten you something that they know nothing about or take care of but they put the responsibility in your 10 year old hands.
