On and off again, my parents broke out of jail and returned home til I left home and my mom was sent to Belle Reve. I made a name for myself in the dark underground of Gotham at the age of eighteen making my parents proud of their psychotic little girl, all the scum and villains knew who I was then one day lead to me being caught by Batsy and his little bat family then shipped off to Arkham Asylum Prison where I'd find him! My own Harlequin! HAHAHAHA!! As an aspiring writer, it's difficult not to look at stories you love and wonder 'What if?' I have notice how the Joker's origin in The Killing Joke and the Joker movie (2019) both stories take place during the 1980s. But what if it took place today? That's what I try to answer! In this original work I explore how a complex character like the Joker could emerge and be influence by current social problems. It's a romantic, and specially mysterious short story that I wish one day could help me make it to DC as a comic book writer, and if I don't, at least I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you enjoy reading it!
