His heart aches. It's a terrible, torturous pain. His brain throbs. He closes his eyes. His brows scrunch. He's trying to remember the last time he felt this much suffering, but he knows he hasn't. Not even the shrapnel in his chest could cause this much agony. Not even when he was dying of blood poisoning. Not even when that beautifully crafted vibranium shield made contact with his arc reactor.
{Note; Yes, I am aware that Tony didn't have his arc reactor during/after Civil War, but I adore that feature about him and I'm not ready to let it go just yet. So bear with me. Also, this is just a temporary desc. until I can come up with a proper one.}

It was clear that the events of New York had left Tony with severe PTSD and anxiety, but the events didn't effect Emma as much anymore because she had Pepper Potts to help her. But it seemed that no matter how much she helped him, Pepper wasn't able to get through to Tony. Not helping their problems, a new threat came to be; a powerful terrorist leader named the Mandarin has been responsible for multiple bombings. Tony fears that Pepper might leave him and take Emma with her because she's had enough, especially when she gets visited by an old interest, Killian. After Happy Hogan was severely injured by one of the bombings, an angry Tony gave a threatening promise to Mandarin on the news, which later caused a terrorist attack on Tony's own house, with Pepper and Emma inside. Everyone was left thinking Tony was dead, but he left Pepper and Emma a message, telling them he was alive. You start to remember, You were in a training fight, testing a new serum they used on you, and your opponent broke your arm. There was no way to heal it fast enough, so they replaced it, up to your shoulder with one made from metal. "This isn't even the worst" "So, you remember?" "I'm remembering." This a story of a young girl coming from a tough place, learning how to be a teenager and becoming an Avenger. You see a lot of the Avengers and re-visit some iconic scenes, re-told from a new perspective. What kinds of things will happen to a young kid coping with past struggles and saving the world?
