Two years. It had been two years since the one they call Alby was sent. All were boys, until one fateful day when a girl was sent. Although most of the boys arrived in a state of fear and confusion, the girl arrived in a state of defiance and spunk. She quickly defined herself with an act of pure idiocy or rebellious bravery.

Hi I wrote this fanfic first for myself but I thought why not share it on wattpad for those who want to read it as well? Basically it's a Newt fanfiction set in the Maze Runner Movie Franchise. In this fanfic, Newt and Cara are already in a relationship but their situation threatens to pull them apart. Will their love stand the trials brought about by a dying world? Short Summary Newt, Cara, and the rest of the group are rescued from the maze. Cara is given her memories back right before her, Newt and the group escape the WICKED facility. Her loyalty to her friends wavers but she soon realizes that she no longer wants to work for WICKED despite Teresa trying to convince her otherwise. They try to escape the grasp of WICKED as they make their way through the Scorch in search of the Right Arm. Cara struggles with personal issues and traumas that have been brought back along with her memories. Newt tries to hold her hand every step of the way. Based on The Maze Runner. The field adaptation, though. I know that's not what book nerds like me will love, and I'm sorry to outrace you.
