A story of our main protagonist who's battle for his life gets more difficult by the minute when his life changes forever.

This story has a creature known as a spike, they live among us when we don't even realise it and the only way to tell them apart from humans is the mark they posses on the base of their foot, a tattoo stating how many years they have left alive. Each spike has an individual power which is an adaptation of their parents' power.
