This story follows the life of one young Penelope Gray as she learns to deal with the loss of her mother at the age of 17, and tries to remember how to live life like it matters. This is not a happy story. This is a story about death, loss, grief, and looking for hope. This story covers pretty sensitive subjects, and may be upsetting at points. But if you're going through something similar, this may just be helpful in some way, even if only to show that you're not alone. This story is based on my own experiences, with some names and titles changed for safety reasons. My hope is that those close to me can understand perhaps what I'm going through, and that maybe- just maybe- I can use this as a way to reach out to someone else going through a tragedy.All Rights Reserved
