Jamie Morgan. What a typical name for a typical girl. People didn't notice her much, maybe casually bumping into to her, and maybe apologizing. And, like most people, she had an "alone place." Really, it wasn't the typical place; where you're actually alone. It was the beach. The ocean. And she only went for one thing: the sandollars.

The End of Summer
Summer Jacobs knew full well about her town’s tradition. Every year at the end of the summer, a party would be held on school grounds without the knowledge of the parents or the teachers. It had been happening since before Summer was born and never once was anyone the wiser. This year however, everyone was going to find out. Summer had planned a weekend of alcohol, bad decisions and horrendous photo’s which she would later un-tag herself from on Facebook. A whole weekend with her friends at the biggest party of the year, without any worries or parents telling her what to do. So how she ended up trapped in the school with a deranged psycho killing her classmates off one by one, she will never know. It wouldn’t have been as bad if she was trapped on her own. She would have been happier to face the lunatic solo rather than be trapped with a guy who kept using the life or death situation to make passes at her. His theory was being so close to death should definitely loosen her up, and by ‘loosen up’ he definitely meant ‘get naked.’ Along with his friends who between them had the IQ of a baby tree stump, an outcast who probably still had Spiderman bed sheets and the cheerleaders who were more worried about all the blood staining their new white jeans, they had to somehow make it out of there alive. All I can hear is cheering in my head or maybe ringing. For the first time in 12 years Mother and I were able to sleep that hot summer night in bed together. April's life changed once she saw her dad Johnny get murdered right in front of her, by her mother June. A self-defense case quickly turned to manslaughter and the law turned against June at the drop of a hat. June was sentenced to 25 to life, a then 14-year-old April was left alone. Her dad said didn't want anything to do with her as she was defending her mother and June never knew her parents as she grew up in group homes. April is now a 25-year-old private eye and teaches self-defence classes in honour of her mother. On her off days, she works at a gentleman's club called "The Claw" where she meets Derek Hill and their life is forever changed. Completed!! -- I could hear him running behind me. "HELP!" I started to scream the words repeatedly. I felt like I was the stupid, helpless girl in a horror film. I ran right into a fence and fell down. I got back up and turned around. Blake was right there. He pinned me up against the wood. "You are so stupid!" He chuckled. He grabbed a bottle of some sort and smiled. "Nighty night." He whispered. He compliments her, makes her feel bubbly. She feels like he loves her, and she loves him. Then things get a little weird when he asks her personal questions. Not thinking twice, she answers all of them. Cathy feels guilty afterward, and never wants to talk to him again. But he wants to meet her.
