Avalon Johnson is the best friend of Leo Dooley. Each with bionic superpowers. Adam, Bree, and Chase Davenport are three bionic teenagers that have never left the lab. When Val and Leo enter their lives, everything changes. The five become inseparable, closer than any siblings. They become best friends, and Chase and Val feel themselves falling for each other. But she isn't as safe as they thought. Being friends with the Lab Rats, Val finds herself in constant danger, and it's up to them to protect her. But when you're best friends with three bionic people, there is no such thing as safe.

It seemed like her appearing ruined everything for him, just like she had done a month prior. But forgiveness comes in many forms, and Leo found that out firsthand with both Maggie and Bree. Was forgiveness worth it, though? Or was anger the route for Leo to take?
