Kari Richards never had any problems defending herself as a child, because nobody really noticed her. Now that her father's company has expanded and flourished, she has become somewhat of a target for local criminals. She didn't think it would be that bad, maybe a few thugs trying to steal her purse or something, but that was expected if you lived right smack in the middle of a busy city. Could there be something more, though? A bigger threat trying to attack Kari in order to get some of her father's fortune? Well, Kari's father was prepared to protect his daughter... and his money by hiring a personal bodyguard for her. At her first glance, she was dazzled by Seth, but once he spoke to her, her whole opinion changed. Although he was handsome, rugged, and a total badass, he was rude and arrogant to no extent. Throughout their journey, they'll have to find a way to get along and that could possibly blossom into friendship or maybe even something more?
