When the Crystal Gems recently have a battle with Jasper, Amethyst is shattered, and it is blamed on Steven.  Sad and distraught, some things are said, and fights are started. The Diamonds find this weakening of the team as a perfect opportunity to take action against the Crystal Gems. Steven is captured, and the rest of the team do their best to get him back. But, what will happen if the Homeworld is able to turn Steven against his gem mentors? What will happen if Steven doesn't want to be saved? About Lapis Lazuli and Peridot and Jasper and... eh... what happened on that big hand-ship before the Crystal Gems crashed it. (This story ends near the end of the episode Jail Break) I'm keeping this child-friendly. None of what I consider cursing is in this book. And it's just friendship. And forgiveness. I try to keep the characters, well, in character, but I probably didn't succeed. Includes some of my own theories about Yellow Diamond and Homeworld; not everything in this story is canon.
