Abigail Chamberlain lives with her dad in San Diego, a senior in high school ready to move out and start her own life. But when her Dad suddenly announces that she'll be spending the rest of her senior year and the summer with her Mom and Brother in Boston, all her plans go down the drain. Forced to pack up everything and leave, she flies to Boston, expecting and determined to hate it. But once she gets a chance to remember her Brother James and her Mom, who she hasn't seen in over a decade, she starts to think that maybe coming to live with them wasn't such a bad idea. Not to mention that her brother James's best friend, Johnny Henderson, is the hot and talented starting pitcher for their schools varsity baseball team, and just might have stolen her heart. But could he possibly like her back, having just met such a short time ago? And will their growing feelings for each other grow, only to be ripped apart when Abigail goes back to live with her dad in a year?
