Feeling like you don't belong? As if those around you are completely different from who you really are? 

Amber lives with her parents and her brother in a little village and is constantly made fun of as the 'Freak'. Just because she is a little different. She is convinced that she can see something... a whole other world in the sky. But as time goes on she is forced to act oblivious, just so that she fits in. However, one fateful day when she is kidnapped - disapproving parents and being called a freak show is the least of her problems.

Jett has never really appreciated the perfect synchronicity of the world he lives in. and the advanced tech. all he's ever wanted is to have an adventure, wanting to see the world for what it really is and not the metallic structure in the sky that he is forced to remain trapped in.

A war broke out over 50 years ago between the anthros/furs(anthropomorphic animals created by the government ) and humans and the main character jett a 16 year old human was part of a program who turned teenagers into super soldiers stationed at hoover dam but he didn't agree with their tactics of killing civilians so he killed his commanding officer but before he was executed back at hoover dam the furs stormed the facility and he was placed in a cryogenic pod by a doctor to save him but he ends up waking up 50 years later to a world ruled by the furs without having aged a day. shortly after escaping he falls off the dam and then is found by a family of furs( anthro foxes') but his past won't let him move on
