The humans don't know who protects them from the darkness, because they blend themselves in with society, but if you look at the Solvarins too long you start to notice they are different.
Auralis thinks she is just an ordinary human, and her parents are sending her to a private boarding school in Iceland.
What she doesn't know is that she is the first Solvarin born in the centuries, and what that means to this new world she is getting thrown into.
