"Send your friend my thanks." Sherlock turned and walked away. Clara stared after him for a moment before turning and walking back to the car. She got in the taxi beside John and smiled softly at him. "What the adress?" The driver asked. She turned to him and smiled. "221b Baker Street. Don't worry, John. We're meeting a friend. He's a doctor...of sorts."

After Sherlock jumped, John is broken. Clara couldn't stand seeing her friend like that anymore so when Sherlock refused to tell John he was alive, she took matters into her own hands. To help John with his best friend, she was going to need the help of hers.

" Where are you? " It seemed as though John was talking to no one. Just a man in the middle of the streets yelling like a mad man. Such a great sight. " I've watched you since you were born but it's obvious that you haven't fully grasped that you cannot see me unless I want you to see me. For someone that has a college degree I would expect more from you. " John scoffed at the deep baritone voice insulting him. " For someone that has supposedly watched me my whole life, I would have assumed that you would have some type of sympathy for me. Besides, I've seen you before. You just choose to hide. " " I'm only like this because I know that you can handle it. You've dealt with me for this long and I'm hiding from you to save you. " He was right. John have dealt with him for a long time. But he was tired of not knowing who he truly was. The voice knew everything about John while John knew nothing about him. " Can you at least tell me your real name, S? " The nickname sent shivers down John's spine since he hadn't called the voice that in years. " Wow, you do remember. But the name is Sherlock Holmes. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go back to being unknown. " John felt a gust of wind hit him which signaled that Sherlock had once again vanished to who knows where. John's guardian angel sure was a charmer. Always knew how to get them. John could say this though. Sherlock Holmes was one angel that intrigued him in ways he didn't know were possible. But he liked it. - In which a guy named John has a guardian angel named Sherlock follow him around for practically his whole life who will help him reach his life goal that everyone needs to complete. John looked peaceful, his head lulling back and hands clasped together in his lap. His mouth was slightly open, and his breathing even. How had he fallen asleep so perfectly? Most people who had fallen asleep around Sherlock (which was, admittedly, not many) had slept awfully, loud and snorty, sometimes thrashing around, sometimes making weird sounds you're only capable of making while asleep. He sat next to the doctor, being careful not to disturb his slumber. Closing his eyes, Sherlock tried to get to his mind palace. To his dismay, too many thoughts cluttered his head. That had never happened before. Sherlock groaned softly, keeping his eyes closed. Maybe he should get some sleep. He knew John would want him to. "Ah John, what would I do without you?" Sherlock whispered to the sleeping man beside him on the couch. "I'd be a half dead robot if you weren't here. I almost was. I almost was." A small sigh escaped his lips as he slipped into the cool relief of sleep.Complete

He was looking at Sherlock Holmes. Yet not the one he would have expected. Distinctive changeable eyes, lined by a row of long dense lashes, showed an expression of a wild animal standing in the glare of approaching headlights. Of a man driven into a corner. Simply expressed, an expression of pure horror, something you don't see on a famous consulting detective most of the time. John opened his mouth, but after a realisation that he has no idea of what he wanted to say, he closed it again. He wasn't welcomed by a mutilated, smashed face. The severed spine could be ruled out straight away, and he seemed to have all his limbs as well. He felt an endless relief when he saw solid, uninjured skin where the blood flowed the last time. Nevertheless, the scene he was offered tugged the carpet under his feet and he had to admit (if a bit grudgingly) that Mycroft was right-he did not exaggerate when warning him it might be a shock. Trigger warnings: This story contains references to violence and its description, and also deals with self-esteem issues and body image.
