I, Lucy Clearwater, can easily be seen as the prettiest girl of the junior class. Always wearing the cutest clothes, hanging with the hottest boys and going to the craziest parties. Everyone figures that I lived this perfect, ideal high school dream life. That isn't true, not even close. Life at home is completely different. Mom is always passed out in her bed drunk and only gets up to use the restroom. She's still depressed from when dad left us for his NYC whore. It's 'okay' though, because he sends us money every month. None of this is okay. I'm trying to keep it all hidden under the shoes and clothes but what will happen when one boy takes the time to pay attention?

Her overbearing father won't even let her choose what instrument she plays. Then she finds herself alone at a party with Ren, her best friend's crush.
