Den was the guy no one wanted to be around. He was a street kid; had been since his parents died when he was five, and he was forced to choose between the cold, affection starved life in an orphanage and toughing it out on his own.

He chose the latter, and since then, he had lived a life full of stealing, fights, drugs; and pain. Pain was the only constant in his life.

When he was eleven he met the triplets. Lara, Kara and Mara. They were beautiful, cheerful, and only a year younger than him. He dated Lara, and cheated on her a few times with Mara, but he always felt that his platonic friendship with Kara was the best of them. So she was his best friend, and they were his girlfriends.

Fast-forward six years. Den became a successful musician. Mara was dead and Lara had dumped him. But Kara was the only one who had stuck with him through the years, and he had left her to pursue his dream.

So now he was coming back for her.
