This was a story I wrote in high school for my literature class senior year. All you need to know is that it's a gothic frame horror story slightly inspired by an album called "A Place Where the Sun is Silent" and "The Emptiness" by Alesana which were based by Dante's "Inferno" and Poe's "Annabel Lee" respectively. The main inspiration for this story was from Edgar Allan Poe along with whatever story I'll do after this.

A Horror Apocalyptic setting where 9 young adults with strange abilities have been kept protected in an underground dome for 20 years. Everything is intentional Inspired partially by Dante's Inferno and Greek Mythology Dante's Inferno is a story about a man, named Dante, who goes on a journey through the nine circles of hell learning about each of them and finding famous icons within discovering that each circle represents a sin, going down the punishments become worse and horrific based on the intensity of the sin. Although my story is not directly linked to Dante and his journey I have used elements and ideas from the book and game and incorporated them accordingly. This woman asked and when she looked into herself she knew the answer, it came easy through her busted lips. "Yes." From that day on she became something else, something not human, something extraordinary and from that day forth she will serve this woman who saved her life and maybe one day remember her name or be given one by her new Mistress. Maybe one day she'll remember who she was and maybe she'll even find the one person that completes her soul. From that day forth she became a Nightwalker. Completed. There is a young man name (Y/N) (L/N), was a normal man who's enjoyed his time and life, he live in his home all alone while his parents is off in vacation, he's a music artist who can make music for everyone enjoy his song, but deep inside, he felt lonely, doesn't have a girlfriend, but he will manage, on the next day when he was out to go store get something to eat. He fell. Someone is watching him but he'll think this is nothing but when he was out at the store, he found a weird Portal on his house, he doesn't know where it came from but when he was about to call someone on the phone, suddenly a photo suck him into the portal and he land in the ground hard in pain. But when he was about to get up, he looked around and saw that everything around him was red. He saw Demons, tall buildings, and pentagrams start up the sky and tell he realize he's in hell but he doesn't know how to get back. Until. He saw a commercial about the hotel where well-redeemed sinners he going to the hotel and he saw a girl named Charlie MorningStar, and the other girl was named Vaggie. He told him about what happened and how he got here and they feel sorry for him and return day well let him stay in the hotel and tell they figure out what to do, but what he didn't know that Charlie and Vaggie and the other girls, are responsible of the portal in his house and now they're have him and they are so obsessed with him that they were never let him leave. Well, he escaped. Let's find out. (edit) I forgot to add that this started out as a confessional journal about becoming clean after a 10 year + addiction to OTC cold meds, but that was not my style of writing, I liked the material so I wanted to expand it into a novel length work featuring the journal elements. To say this work is a roller coaster would put it lightly. Although there are elements of time travel I would consider my sudden transitions reality travel. I use actual experience and dreams as a foundation, then toss in some fourth wall breaking narratives (meta-fiction), with a sprinkling of facts and quotations from songs and factual articles. It tends to be written similarly to an essay sans the boring. I have been influenced strongly by Vonnegut and W. S. Burroughs , and a wide variety of album rock, and that bleeds through. The tags dystopian and dark humor describe the whole piece best but there is a lot of genre jumping. I've done a good deal of research, not just for factual things but for the type of writing I do.
