Alec Lightwood isn't exactly the warmest or nicest person, but people care for him anyway. And he secretly cares about them as well as others he just wouldn't be caught dead saying it.
Clary Fray is struggling with a lot of things in her life currently that she didnt even know about until it barged into her daily life. And now she's trying to make her way through this new world she's been thrown into.
But what happens when Clary suddenly realizes that she doesn't actually like Jace, but Alec? And how about when Alec almost tries to kill her and then tells her to leave and she does exactly that?

Memories Are All She Has
This happens after the city of heavenly fire.(In the Mortal Instruments series) She walks in gracefully and says with so much venom, that I flinch, "Sit down and listen." I obey, sensing a very wrong and dangerous vibe from her. She continues, "I am Ms. Smith but you will call me madam." I reply, "And I am Clar-" "I know who you are if not why would I have summoned that demon to kidnap you," she interrupts, glaring at me. I am shocked, why would this lady kidnap me. I am completely perplexed. She must have seen it on my face because she says, "You killed Jonathan Morgenstern when all he did was love you. I HATE YOU. If you weren't there he would have loved me. Now I will take your loved ones away from you." I am just about to reply when she sends electrifying green sparks towards me which make me lose consciousness. When I finally up she says, "I have cursed you. When you leave this house it will be the day of your sixteenth birthday again but this time Simon won't remember you and neither will your other friends especially your lover, Jace. If you get close to them then they will all die after a year. No other warlock can reverse this spell." Clary gets cursed one night by a certain vengeful warlock. That one night turns her whole world upside down. She has no one to trust, to depend on, to love. Will she survive this like she survived everything else or will she lose herself along the way?
