A time where Vampires roamed the earth freely, while us humans remained hidden in the shadows, fearing the heartless beasts that feed on us. I wish I could say us humans defeated the Vampire Chain -- but sadly, we did not. Most of us humans became Vampires, or we got captured and became blood bags for them to feed on. Or we became toys, toys that the beasts love tricking and playing with. I wish could also say that there's free humans out there, living their lives as if there were not a single Vampire out for their blood. But no, he has all the humans trapped in his mansion, in his home. My name is Amelia Heart, and this is the story on how me and my sister Elliot survived, then died.
