Zola Jordan, an atheist, is in for her weekly diabetic visit at the clinic when she decides to hunt for a new hospital friend. Strangely, she stumbles on a 17 year old by the name of Calum Hood, a hardcore Christian.

Despite their different viewpoints, they bond instantly and become best friends in a matter of days, learning that they need each other more than they think.

The only problem is, Calum has been diagnosed with rapidly growing terminal cancer, and he has one month left to live.
