"Thats me! Thats MY name" i thought, quickly getting up and heading to the stage.

There I was standing getting my picture taken with my high school diploma. Life felt good for the first time I finally felt accomplished... But the real question is what am i going to do next...

Maya brooks is a very unique girl, she's always known she was different from everyone else. 

This story is about a girl who wants to follow her dreams but doesnt know how to get there. Ever since she could remember she's always wanted to become a singer, but there was always problems...

1) She actually couldn't sing in front of people 

2) She came from a strict family that already has plans for her life 

3) She doesn't know how to get there

Will Maya continue on with all these hard obstacles? Will she reach her destination? Or will she give in and live the life her family wants her to? But what happens when a certain someone comes into her life to "save the day"... Keep reading and you'll find out:)
