"I can't do this anymore Nani, I don't feel the same way I use to about you anymore. I can't take the countless fustrating conversations, we are very different people and maybe it's best if we just stay friends. ." He spoke lowly into his phone as it grew silent on the other end and then nothing but the sound of sniffling which made him tense knowing she was distraught.
As the silence only continued he listened to the rain drop onto his window of his car, looking up into the sky to only dwell on that night they kissed "Nani,  please.. say something".
"I love you , please don't do this.."She pleaded covering up her mouth with her hand to muffle her cries.
Tears slid down his cheeks as he cried and silently then to say " I'm so sorry. .I can't do this anymore".
