Anaïs and Sébastien Bourgeois are music prodigies, adopted into family with a long line of successful musicians. Winning various music competitions and even coming in first place in a national competition, Anaïs and Sébastien are quite the duo. Though both of the 'siblings' have an equally exceptional level of talent at their instruments, their talents shine more brightly when they are together. A 'sibling bond', one could say.
However, both of them believe that these trophies and medals don't mean anything, nor do they truly define them. The Bourgeois siblings are bored of this famous lifestyle, constantly having with put up with their Father pressuring them to improve more. This has been going on ever since their talent was discovered, age 4 for Anaïs and 7 for Sébastien. 12 years later, they both grew sick of their Father's controlling nature and move into his mother's mini mansion, after gaining full ownership over it. But, it isn't over yet. Even though they have moved out, their Father still has full custody over them. He has done many things to change their minds about flying solo: threatening to tear down the mansion, send letters in attempt to make them move back, and many other outrageous things.
In this first part of the trilogy, we experience the many things these two 'siblings' had to do in order to spread their wings and free themselves from the tight grasp of a controlling parental figure along with how strong the bond between two siblings can be even if they are not related by blood. How music helped them express themselves and remove them of their worries, for there is a peculiar world meant for just that...
