A black particle cloud passes over the Earth and hangs there. Scientists say that it will takes thousands, possibly millions of years to pass.

But darkness is brewing, ancient evils are rising in the shattered modern world and the scales are tipping. Society has collapsed into medieval order where a world of knights, wizards and assassins arise.

As a child, Arbiter Amory has loved magic. But not anything crazy like the power to raise the undead. He has to learn that the world is now forever changed. But he cannot wait, fate has laid out his path and destiny is against him.

Friends and family, lost to the clutches of evil only fuels Arbiter's rage as he prepares for the battle of the centuries yet to come.
