What if we are all a big experiment, and we are all in a coma, getting tested by aliens or scientist? And when we die, we wake up from the coma, and then we get trained to become a scientist or get killed for failing the experiment. What if we were put in a coma to find out the cures for various disease like cancers and to make world peace, so the aliens can solve their issues? What if the aliens made all the disease and wars we face today, and they want to get rid of us once and for all? What if we serve some greater purpose in life that the aliens are preventing us from doing? And what if we achieve this purpose? What will happen? Would we end up killing all the aliens, and freeing everyone from the coma? What will happen then? But what if we don't end up achieving it? What will happen then? What will the aliens do? Would we ever know?
By the way, this isn't based off the movie "The Matrix." I thought and wrote this 'What If' (the description above) before I watched the Matrix.

Someday - A Short Story
Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. I hope you'll like it. :D This story will be rarely updated, since I'm busy with school and stuff. So, sorry in advance. ~Just Perfect EDIT: As of 03/29/14 (arranged in this order: dd/mm/yy), this story has deviated from its original "pure romance," into something worth delving deeper into. Quite interesting. And because of this... "something worth delving deeper into," I have decided to continue the story with a PART TWO! Though that will have to wait until after Exile. Or maybe when I get tired of Exile and hope to continue this again. But either way, there WILL be a part two for those who want more zoophilia. Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So pretty much this is over but I will be working on sequel if anyone will be interested in reading it. I just couldn't live with killing them off but I had planned to write a new one anyway but it felt like it wouldn't be the same so I brought them back. A Cut Not Deep Enough
So that was the deciding factor. It became my inspiration, my reason for resorting to such seclusion. I had always needed my own space for working, which is why even when I worked in the hospital I never allowed for a nurse or doctor or any other person to be in room, except me and the patient. I am unable to perform my work with prying eyes staring me down and questioning me, questioning my methods and maybe even questioning my humanity. Thus, when she stopped living here by my side, I took that as my cue to quit working in the hospital. ---- Dr. Roy Andrews, a highly credible neurosurgeon has a knack for solving cases of comatose. His methods, however, are questionable. And highly unorthodox. He enters the patient's minds. Despite that factor, he has never once messed up a case. He has never once lost somebody. However, when patient Kester Montgomery arrives under his care, the circumstances of his case baffle Dr. Andrews, leading to the possibility of a detrimental outcome. Let's get one thing straight here, I'm not a hero (I totally am, but I hear that these days being modest is in fashion or something, so I don't know man). I never planned on being a hero. It kind of just happened. Clark's the bigshot. The fame, the girls, the attention. Me? I'm just his loser younger brother. Another rich Trackerson kid, but that quiet one with no personality.
