After her parents divorce Maddie didn't get out much, staying in studying on Saturdays and making up pathetic excuses when she did get invited out, even though that was very rare as her friends stopped talking to her when she got distant. This is her last summer before College and she thought it was going to be like any other summer, boring. But one daring move she makes sets her in a summer of fun, love, challenges and questioning future choices. Leaving her mother behind in there house, she goes and visits her dad, at Holden in Texas , a little beach town, a place where everyone knows everyone. With her upbringing she didn't have a childhood, she never played with toys, she never went on an adventures, she couldn't even swim but this summer she changes, she learns new things and she meets new people that could change her whole entire life.
