The year is 2013. Earth is deemed uninhabitable. After the World War Three erupted, nuclear missiles were launched, and the war between Russia and the rest of the world has caused the worst thing possible. The Apocalypse. Everything is gone. Dead. Forever. Except one school. John Ferneley College. So far there is peace. But we cant hope on only a few to regain population on earth. Especially when a new war is about to be declared. I call it, 'The Zone Wars.'

I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India. They died of disease days later. I found their bodies by the river. But I guess this is my life now, surviving with a scared boy, a pair of twins and trying to make it to the next day. The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. So they stayed civil while still doing what it took to survive.Complete
