It always replays in my mind. The crash, the shattering glass. It plays like a video stuck on repeat, over and over.
The doctor trying to comfort me, after shattering my world. Nothing can wake my father up, nothing can banish the memory.
My brother shouldn't have had to feel that pain, no one ever should.
Then he brought it all flooding back, the memories of being normal, if normal exists. He made me remember the sun is meant to warm up your back and heat up your heart, he made me remember the good side of life.
It's only a matter of time before he discovers the truth and my world will shatter all over again.
