I know the way the town sounds at night, with rain, snow, hail, wind, or simply nothingness. I know the way the forest sounds of animal calls and echoes.   Aria Douglas is accustomed to Hillswood, Oregon and the sounds that riddle the shadows. She watches and listens to the hum of the town from a distance, piecing the mystery of Hillswood together.
