I've lived in this city since birth. I've lived in this house since birth. I've gotten used to the creaks and aches the house makes at night, most people do. I know the way the town sounds at night, with rain, snow, hail, wind, or simply nothingness. I know the way the forest sounds of animal calls and echoes. But most of all, I know the sounds of the town at 12:34 A.M. -- Aria Douglas is accustomed to Hillswood, Oregon and the sounds that riddle the shadows. She watches and listens to the hum of the town from a distance, piecing the mystery of Hillswood together. Aria seems to be the only who notices 12:34 A.M. until Adrian Blake returns to the town for his younger brother's funeral.

'I hear it in my ear drums. But I can't seem to convince myself that it's real.' I have no idea what I'm doing. Why am I writing this? I dunno, I felt like it and now I'll probably regret it day by day as I update it. Oh well, time to get drunk off of root beer and write down emotional stuff!
