Keith O'Riley has gone through some hard times in his life. His parents split up. His girlfriend left him after breaking his heart. He turns to the thing that destroyed his parents' relationship: drinking and drugs.
A near fatal overdose lands Keith in a help facility where he meets Alec, a boy with a startling resembelence to John Entwistle.
Once released, he meets up with his old friend Denny, a near carbon copy of Pete Townshend. 
Keith and Denny meet up with Alec one day and they meet a man known as Harry. This boy looks like Roger Daltrey.
The looks of these people shock Keith and dreams or memories start flooding him. He convinces himself he is Keith Moon reborn. On top of that, he was born the day Moon died in 1978. When he meets some people that knew Moon directly, the memories overcome him and he is truly certain of his past.
But can the others handle it? Can the rest understand? What will happen as Keith tries to unlock his past in its full?
