Tobias Casamof passe ses journées au travail sous les ordres d'un patron tyrannique. Tous les jours la même routine. Tobias se lèvent à 7h. Il prend un café medium sans lait et sans sucre. Il part de chez lui à 7h40. Il marche 20min jusqu'à son bureau. Il travaille jusqu'à 12h15. A 12h15, il rentre chez lui en passant par la poste pour prendre son courrier. Il va au bureau à 13h15. Il y travaille jusqu'à 17h30. Il rentre chez lui, mange puis s'installe dans son salon pour regarder le journal télévisé. Il part se coucher à 21h30. La seul chose qui égaille la journée de ce trentenaire est ce moment. Celui où il lit ses livres. Ils adorent les romans de Patrick Gravard. Un jour, ils décident, comme le héros de ses livres, de sortir de sa routine quotidienne pour partir faire le tour du monde.
