At the age of twelve, Lainie Gracewood craves adventure and intrigue, but what are the chances of finding that on a sheep farm near the border of South Australia? Her best friend, Noah, seems to be content with tinkering with his dirt bike and avoiding homework, but when Lainie stumbles across an old newspaper clipping, they can't help but imagine that there just might be something still hidden out in the bush.
