Has anyone ever wondered why Impulse, or Bart Allen, is always so cheerful? Maybe it's because he is drowning on the inside. This story explores Bart's path to finding happiness. It may take a while, but he is willing to do what it takes to feel at peace. Even if that means death.

Wanting to be a superhero and becoming one, are two completely different things. But becoming the opposite? That's way easier. And sometimes it's not on purpose. Fate didn't want me to be a hero. I was a fairly normal girl, growing up in Central City. A city where superheroes and super villains didn't exist... until the particle accelerator exploded. Many people were turned into these metahumans, me being one of them. Likely one of the only changed nine year olds at the time. My parents were both scientists for Star Labs, being two of the many others that died in the blast. Needing to get away, I decided to move to Gotham. A good city to hide in. Maybe it wasn't the best city to move to, but, in the end, I'm glad I did. In the crazy town, I was adopted by the two craziest people there. The Deranged Duo, Harley Quinn and Joker. "Rescued by villains, who knew?" I say. "Villains rescue fellow villains," Joker says. "Sounds funny coming from you," I scoff. "Aww, is that the way you should treat your saviors?" Joker teases. "I could've taken them," I scoff. "Why did you save me?" "We watched you take out the last group of thugs," Harley says. "We've been looking for a protégé, sorta like how Batsy has that sidekick, Robin, was it?" Joker grins. "We like you. You're funny." ... Young Justice. Your team that's very cheerful and happy. I love this team and wanted to write a story about them. I would like to point out that this isn't a Legends Book. It's a story that just kind of continues throughout the other stories. Okay, lots of the chapters will be games. One of the most popular will be Truth or Dare. For this team, I tried to mix the comic with the show and also added a few from the New 52 Teen Titans. The team is: -Red Robin AKA Tim Drake. He's the leader. -Superboy AKA Connor Kent. His personality is based on the show, not the comic. -Impulse AKA Bart Allen. His quick aging problem was fixed and his age paused at 14, making him the youngest member of the team. -Wondergirl AKA Cassie Sandsmark. Very pretty, she's a mix of all three sources. -Miss Martian AKA M'gann M'orzz. She is new to Earth and has a crush on Superboy. -Arrowette AKA Cissie King-Jones. Impulse had a crush on her. She has a similar personality to Artemis. -Zatanna AKA Zatanna Zatara. She is a very bright character and no longer lives under her fathers shadow. Her character follows her characters personality from Young Justice. -Bunker AKA Miguel Jose Barragan. Follows the New 52 100%. Exact same character! Dick Grayson and Wally West, or better known as Robin and Finch, are robbers with a seemingly random pattern and motive. But what happens when a Bat figures out it's not so random, and these teen-aged criminals are not as "bad" as they make themselves out to be? One Young Justice encounter later, and the pair fight for their lives; their lives as either criminals or what they can become. I don't own DC or any references made in this. Klarion attempts to rein chaos all over earth with different methods and have done so due to the romance of 3 couples. Jaime Reyes and Bart Allen in later chapter's possibly from chapter 8. More characters from the TV show are included too. I also added a hint of 'Once Upon a Time' action in there =). Once upon a Time is an American TV series that I really enjoy watching too. Enjoy!
