Rose Hudson did not sign up for the Soulmates competition, no matter who protests that she did. They had to, they say, if her name was in. She wasn't planning on it, and wouldn't, even if it was her last choice in order to earn some money.

Valentine's Day has dawned again on Johnson High School and Rose couldn't be more annoyed. Sobbing single girls and mushy couples are not her thing. When the Matchmakers return, Rose knows the school's in for some serious trouble.

Sign up, get partnered with a random guy, date him until the Romance Dance at the end of the month, be the best couple, and win a thousand dollars. That's all Rose had to do. Easy, right?

Wrong.

The Matchmakers have returned, and Rose has never hated them more.
