Bryce Alberry, small town girl, meets a boy from the city with a bad attitude.

This becomes apparent while they argue during their first meeting and he tries to pin the blame of an almost fatal accident on her.

After, Bryce grumbles about the arrogant hotshot and is relieved that their paths will never cross again...

Little does she know how the rest of her junior year summer break is about to pan out as she collides with this wild, vexatious new character.

He infuriates her, surprises her and makes it impossible for her to keep her demons in the dark as she's been doing for so many years.
