Is it possible to love someone the moment you lay eyes on them? Katherine Rose and her family move to a new town called Clearwater in the outskirts off Nebraska when they finally escape and run away from her abusive father. Kat thinks that this school year is going to go by smoothly with no bumps. She wants to just fade into the background and not be seen at Clearwater High. Blaze Wolf has other ideas. He has finally found the person that he spends the rest of his life with and he's not letting her go. Emotions run wild and Kat doesn't know what to do. Of course, with an alpha as a mate, things do tend to get heated.

She's a mix between both. Her mother a werewolf and her absent father a human. After growing up around people who tell her she's a freak of nature and shouldn't even exist, she starts to believe them. After one event causes her to stand up against her mother just to fall back down on her face she decides to run away. What will happen when he meets Blake Redding, future alpha of the largest pack in New Mexico. Will she welcome him with open arms or just push him away, convinced that she doesn't deserve love? Add in a psychotic father, werewolf hunters, and ten siblings, things are bound to get crazy.
