Nicolette Stratton is starting her junior year at Bluewood Academy, a private boarding school in New York City. Until Reed Davenport, the new kid from Chicago arrives at Bluewood for the start of the fall semester. Nicolette immediately declares him off limits and has a million reasons why. They become close friends, which makes it even harder for her to keep her own word. Will she able to stay just friends with him? What will her friends think of her in the end?
