After the heart breaking event, Russel finally decided to set things aside and just move on with his life. The remaining time he spent at GoodKind High school was not a cake walk either. Interaction with Kevin was highly avoided by Russel for his fragile heart might not handle it pretty well. Despite Kevin's numerous attempts, Russel was off the grid and decided that he should forget about Kevin and that he deserved better.. But his efforts of convincing himself were futile.
Years later, Russel graduated at Bronx University in New York with a degree in Journalism. At the age of 25, he managed to land a job at New York times as a column writer and an Editor for various writers.. He was the hotshot of the firm, any story big enough to make front page, he's the guy to cover it.. But a mystery to his co-workers with regards to his rapid success and his habit of being a workaholic. All in all, he was doing fine-- well, at least that's what he thought.. With all the years passed, still the same guy haunts his mind nonstop-- his words echoing like an ethereal ghost over and over again, it's useless. Hence, he glued himself on his desk chair and swamped his attention with work.
Kevin, on the other hand, was a scholar at NYU and was a member of the New York Yankees and an MVP for that matter. At the age of 24, He became an instant celebrity and entered acting and made hits after hits. With him being single, ladies were all over him all the time but critics took it as a loophole and started to spread rumors about Kevin being gay. A story worth making a front page, right?
