Kate isn't exactly the TV character you see on Disney channel. She lives a life just like everyone else but at times she doesn't exactly want to. If you know what I mean then wonderful! If not then let me explain. You see Kate loves her family, including her stepmom and stepbrother. She doesn't exactly have the ideal family but she loves em anyway. But she wants things like everyone else, she gets stressed out like everyone else, she gets embarrasses like everyone else. Just Kate doesn't know that. She knows that these things happen to her but she doesn't know they happen to everyone. Kate thinks she's the dumbest person on earth. The person who sits with someone and wants more than anything to make friends with them but has NO idea what to say. To tell the truth I think that all of us feel that way. Whether we know it or not, whether we want to admit to it or not it still happens. It happened to me today! So you may think that your perfect or ugly or fat or to shy and boring but trust me...your not! Your you and that's all anyone can ask of you. So just give this book a chance and you may find that it's more thank a quick read to pass the time!
