// feel like i'm drowning from the sound of all the silence all around //

War after war. Battle after battle. Dead bodies after dead bodies. Hope is lost in a world where the government is ruled with secrecy and extortion and the citizens are fearful of the future.

A revolution will come and free the people who cower beneath the ones who destroyed their homes and lives. There will be an end to all the lies and deception when the weak rise above the strong for a better life.

Sydney didn't have much, but that was fine with her. She didn't need much. Growing up on the Washington coast in a lonely beach town, working quietly behind the scenes was what she was good at. Living on the beach was much less glamorous than most people imagine. Her home was a beat up old Winnebago that she had shared with her father until he passed. Her father had been a detached parent. He loved his daughter of course, but he was by no means an affectionate man. She had grown up fending for herself, working backstage at a bar that hosted live bands using a fake ID. After the death of her father she saw an ad for a guitar technician for a local Seattle band. A love of rock and roll had been the one thing that her and her dad had in common. Selling everything that she didn't need she packed up her pickup truck and travelled north to the city, leaving the sleepy town in her rear view mirror. She didn't expect to embark on what would become the adventure of a lifetime. For someone who had hardly left the town she grew up in, the opportunity to get paid to travel the country and listen to great music was a dream come true. The band became her family, and life on the road was a perfect fit for her. Chris Cornell instantly became Sydney's best friend in the whole world. They were in love, that was plain as day to anyone who paid attention. Yet, sometimes love isn't as simple as it should be. Sometimes, love hurts. Warning: This book covers potentially triggering subjects such as depression, suicidal ideation, domestic abuse, sexual assault, poverty and drug use. These are issues that many of us have faced and are very real. If you or a loved one is experiencing suicidal thoughts or abuse in a relationship, please reach out and find help. The Age of Information. They watch you, follows your every move. A slip of tongue, false alarm, wrong password and every bit of your information will be in the hands of the other end while you will be reduced to triviality. States dominating States, manipulating their population to work under them. To live and die for them, because, what is a man without its state? Nothing. A malicious and hideous Governing Body, playing keys of black and white, striped and colourful humans like puppets. The laws of marriage, pawns as children and trading everything to be placed further up the hierarchy. Blinded by the rapacity of power and fame, not even backstabbing is given a second thought. May it be to your dearest friend or foe. A girl of flesh and bones, contract bound to be a cyborg soon, eradicating stereotypes and malpractices, wrecking entitlement and fighting for peace. A boy of frail faith in love, snatched away from his lover, in search for a purpose to live for. Eight years. Seven days. Six hours. Five lives. Four heads. Three teenagers. Two states. One project. - ©all rights reserved. 2021 (vaulce) : current cover by me - [05/08/2021] - [N/A]
