Something's happening to Zara. Something very very bad.
This is a short story I wrote for my English folio in February 2015. Inspired by The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty, which I'd just finished reading when I wrote this. The ending was intended intended to be somewhat ambiguous so don't ask me what it means because it's up 2 u that's the poINT

My Dreams, His Reality (Sample)
This is a sample novel. The full version is available on ireader and Amazon Kindle. *** I cleared my throat with more force. Harper opened one of his eyes and looked at me. He still didn't let go of her nipple. He raised an eyebrow but didn't stop thrusting. Oh God! "I, um, was j- just l- looking for some cleaning supplies." He didn't stop, instead just grabbed Maria and wrapped her legs around his waist. Okay?! Maria was still in her own bliss. I don't think she even knew that lunch period was over and she had to get to class. Leaving her nipple, he grunted and looked at me. "What the fuck are you waiting for? Grab whatever you need." _________________________________________ Zara hates Harper because he is an egotistical player, sleeps with every girl and has broken her sister's heart. She has had her whole life planned out. For now, she plans to go through her senior year with her two best friends. But all her plans seem to go down the drain when suddenly, one day Harper notices Zara. Zara is thrust into a world she never knew existed and now has to fight the battles that were never hers to begin with.Lengkap
Perverse Discovery
This is a series of short stories inspired by a friend. After buying a new house his mom found a letter (random scribbling?) left behind in a back closet. The scrap of folded paper had warnings about demons that lived in the walls and forced him to sell his house. Needless to say it was an unsettling discovery. Pair that with my own personal experience of buying a house sight unseen and moving (literally) halfway across the country in the middle of a pandemic I had enough material to put together a short collection of stories. Each story opens with an item discovered in a house followed by either the origin of the item or the discovery of the item. All focus around the experience of someone moving. I write these for fun (there are more coming, just editing at the moment) and my own entertainment during the time of social distancing. I hope you find something relatable or at the very least gets you thinking. Enjoy! PS - Although I would not consider this overly graphic there are some more mature scenes and use of adult language.Lengkap
