It's not an every day thing, is it? To imagine yourself and your best friend together. Especially when you're pretty certain for a fact that you're straight, and that person that you're into, is the same gender as you. 

It's a huge problem for Jack, when he finds himself starting to like his friend more beyond the point of friendship. It hadn't really been something he'd considered before.
