Gerard Way. A social outcast voluntarily. Why hadn't he returned for his final year at Elk Grove Academy? Being a long-term academic genus, Gerard was sure to have his whole life set for him. Unfortunately, no one seemed to notice or care about his absence at school. Though that was unlikely to bother the highest achiever Elk's Grove had ever seen. But could anyone be so sure Gerard Way was as content with being alone as once believed?
Frank Iero. Perhaps the most oblivious person to ever attend Elk's Grove. Yet he had possibly the best intentions too. Frank, unlike the majority of the students, knew Gerard Way quite well. In fact, they were roommates. He had indeed noticed Gerard's lack of presence and he'd be lying if he told you it wasn't bothering him.
Lynsey Ballato was worried about Frank. The thing was, Lynsey Ballato was rarely troubled at all. She had also grown quite concerned for Jamia Nester; the most misunderstood girl on the campus.
Jamia Nester knew she was misunderstood. She might've even taken pleasure in knowing it. Jamia also thought Gerard Way was misunderstood and she took as much interest in him as her boyfriend, Frank Iero did.
Things change when Jamia starts receiving letters, and she starts answering them. Elk Grove Academy had a secret. Would Frank find out in time?
